ABSTRACT
The issues associated with hot, humid tropical climates and the appropriate architectural responses to the climate are discussed in this chapter. Typological solution sets for cost-effective design in hot humid climates are proposed for several types of developments. A few case studies are included to further demonstrate how architecture can respond positively to its environment.
