ABSTRACT

Renovascular disease (RVD) is a complex entity associating atherosclerotic arterial lesions, renal disease and hypertension leading to high renal and cardiovascular risks. The relationships between renal artery stenosis (RAS), hypertension and renal function are variable from patient to patient and difficult to assess, but their severity and their association increase the patient’s risks.1
