ABSTRACT
Improved detectors, new electro-optical devices, and vastly improved computational power for data analysis have fueled the recent interest in combining biology and spectroscopy. This chapter examines three aspects of biomedical imaging spectroscopy:
1. Data acquisition: What instruments are available for acquiring an image cube and what are the performance trade-offs involved in choosing one over the other?
