ABSTRACT
The truth of this insight may be illustrated as follows. British soldiers still die for Queen and Country; American troops fight under the Constitution of the USA, that opens with the words: ‘We the People’. There is a marked difference in concern for the life of their troops between American and British generals, even in the Gulf War of 1991.
