ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: In Norway, lightweight concrete highway bridges are built on a regular basis. This material is chosen when it gives the best economical solution while maintaining the durability necessary for long service life. The paper gives an overview of LWC bridge construction and references some of the development work behind the current status of the material.
