ABSTRACT

In jigging process, the motion characteristic of water affects the result of motion and stratification of particles. It is very useful for controlling the stratification to research into the motion regulation of pulse water. With the help of a laboratorial model jig and a high-speed dynamic analysis meter, water flow in jig was observed and analyzed and mass of data were obtained. Based on the experiments and the vibration theory a series of motion equations of water in jig were developed. In the equations the motion parameters of water, such as velocity, acceleration, force etc. are directly proportional to the air pressure, and have a definite non-linear relationship with jigging cycle, thickness and mobility of jig bed.
