ABSTRACT
The factors that determine the constructive and operational parameters of silo-cars are the following ones: the type and the characteristics of galleries and shafts; the equipment used at the working face and on mine railways; the physical and mechanical properties of the excavated rock and the particularities of the mining atmosphere. Consequently, the nature and the influence played by all these factors shall choose the size of an equipment, the operation principle and the working method; they shall also determine the driving system, shall chose the material of which all the equipment is made of, the driving motors in relation with the hazards displayed by a mining atmosphere, etc.
