ABSTRACT
The paper presents the hardware and the software structure of the communication between the Switched Reluctance machine system based on digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F240 and personal computer (PC). MAX232 could be adopted to match the DSP TTL level and the PC RS232 level in the system. The PC communication programme includes the upper place computer communication programme compiled by VB6.0 language and the under place processor communication programme compiled by C language. The flow diagram of the upper place computer communication programme and the under place processor communication programme are given. The visual display interfaces of PC are also given.
