ABSTRACT

Gas explosion is one of the most serious accidents happened in coal mine. It is very important to safety production if the risk of the gas explosion can be assessed reliably before it happened. In this article, the danger of gas explosion in coal mine has been analyzed, evaluated and forecasted by adopting fault tree analysis, combining the person-machine-environment theory in Safety System Engineering and the theory of fuzz mathematics. The software of the danger evaluation of gas explosion has been developed on the WINDOWS environment, and as an example, it has been applied to the Pansan coal mine of Huainan coal (group) CO. LTD which had occurred gas explosion, the result of forecast and evaluation accords with practical situation basically.
