ABSTRACT
Ropinirole is a second-generation orally active D2 dopamine agonist that is active both peripherally and centrally (1). It was developed for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and is approved for this indication in many countries (2). Ropinirole is also being evaluated for the treatment of restless legs syndrome (3).
