ABSTRACT
Irrespective of a pharmacist’s practice site, specialty, or the organization’s structure, it is useful to understand the basics of the law of agency and its applications. The relationships among the parties to an agency are best demonstrated in terms of contract law, but they have considerable application in tort as well. As this discussion develops, effort will be made to show both the similarities and differences.
