Touch Therapies

Touch, outside the framework of psychotherapy, can be an easy and comforting way to communicate. Touching the soft curls of our school-bound kindergartener, embracing an elderly relative, or holding the hand of one’s partner are all examples of warm and loving nonverbal expressions. Touch can explicitly express our caring feelings without saying a word.
