ABSTRACT
The history of research and study on groundwater resource refers to that focused on its development and conservation. The Japanese population was 30 million around 100 years ago; however it has increased up to 120 million at present. During this period, progress in groundwater study and research has reflected the variation in the demand for groundwater.
