The surge in the level of incidences of workplace bullying in recent years in the United Kingdom (UK) has been matched by an extraordinary intensification of interest in the topic and a dramatic increase in the number of studies taking place. Regardless of the plethora of criteria data already gathered on the subject, such as manifestation and coping strategies, there is still a lack of understanding of what can be truthfully described as unnecessary hell for the victim. In common with other forms of abuse, only those who have suered it fully appreciate the sheer awfulness.
