Investigation of the geomechanical processes while mining thick ore deposits by room systems with backfill of worked-out area

Iron ore industry in Ukraine holds one of the leading places in the world by production volume. However, providing the industry with high quality raw steel production continues to be an actual problem. The growth of consumption of the mineral resource base requires expansion, providing the necessary quality of salable ore, maintaining the profitability of mining and ore-processing plants.
