ABSTRACT

In autumn in our country it is accepted to burn fallen leaves, in spring – last year's grass. Air in cities in the peak of the spring and autumn burning becomes heavy and bitter, that results in the increase of respiratory diseases of its inhabitants. The situation is complicated by the features of seasonal weather conditions: windless weather, increasing number of foggy days, high humidity. This ensures that the smoke does not rise but spreads like a low above the ground, covering not only the territory of burning, but also adjoining areas. A significant number of cases of fallen leaves burning is observed in the cities, the atmosphere of which and are already polluted by industrial emissions and motor transport.
