Awakening creativity

ByHilary Cooper

It has been said throughout this book that creative teachers engage in creative thinking at their own level, and that this enables them to transmit creativity to their pupils. Sybil Marshall describes how the way she taught history changed dramatically when she began teaching in a village school in Cambridgeshire in the 1950s (Marshall 1963). Her story is an inspiring one with which to end this book.
