ABSTRACT
In Section 2 the model equations for MRI Rician denoising are reviewed.Thenwe describe the first new primal-dual scheme in Section 3 and present the second algorithm in Section 4: a semi-implicit scheme applied to the Rician denoising gradient flow equations leading to a sequence of well posed quasilinear problems solvedwith a primal-dual algorithm. Finally, in section 5,we compare the numerical results in artificially contaminatedMR images, using as ground-truth solution a fully dual approach on the sequence of problems seen in (Martín, Garamendi, and Schiavi 2012) and we discuss the advantages of the above settings and the suggested future work.
