ABSTRACT
The diffusive and mixed binding gel were made using freshly prepared mixture of agarose-derived cross-linker with Milli-Q water and acrylamide solution (40%) based on the published procedures (Zhang & Davison 1995; Mason et al. 2005). Three ratios of binding agent ferrihydite: Chelex (1:1; 1:2 and 2:1) of MBL were prepared and tested. Elution efficiency was measured with a series of concentrations of HNO3 from 1 M to 4 M.
