ABSTRACT
A urethral diverticulum remains one of the most elusive diagnoses to make in the female patient with voiding dysfunction. The standard evaluation of a suspected urethral diverticulum has matured to a single radiographic study of choice in combination with a high index of suspicion and certain patient examination characteristics that, while easy to overlook, can be realized if attention is appropriately focused.
