ABSTRACT

The previous medical history should include a brief survey of sexual history, which may provide a clue to a congenital problem, due perhaps to a veno-occlusive disorder or congenital chordee. Previous surgery, especially pelvic surgery for bowel, bladder, or prostatic malignancy, reconstructive vascular surgery, or renal transplantation, may obviously be relevant. Multi-system disorders may result in impotence and can sometimes present with this symptom. Hypertension
