ABSTRACT
A 92-year-old woman presented with a fourweek history of a lump in the left breast. There was no associated nipple discharge and the patient had no previous breast problems being otherwise fit and active for her age. She had a very weak family history of breast cancer with a paternal cousin having the disease in her 40s. The patient was nulliparous and had never used hormone replacement therapy.
