ABSTRACT
PCI AFTER FIBRINOLYSIS While the focus of this chapter has been to develop, describe and delineate the primary PCI strategy in acute STEMI, there nonetheless remain a substantial proportion of patients who will be initially managed with fibrinolytic therapy. Several constructs therefore deserve mention in the context of an intervention-based approach to the patient with STEMI.
