A training model for enhancing the learning capacity of students with special needs in inclusive classrooms in Thailand
The National Education Act of Thailand focuses on educating all children together in inclusive classrooms. The movement toward inclusive classrooms also means that schools and teachers need to adjust their services to accommodate children with diverse learning needs. This chapter describes a training model for teachers who work in inclusive classrooms in Thailand and examines its result on teachers and their students. Problems encountered and suggestions for implementation of similar programs are also presented.
