Strategies for Communication


Laframboise, Nelson and Schmaltz (2003) wrote a seminal piece around the need to develop a robust communication strategy in relation to change in workplace accommodation projects based on research carried out in government buildings in Canada. More recently, Bull and Brown (2011) have investigated whether the amount and frequency of communication impacts on the levels of satisfaction working for an organization following the implementation of an alternative workplace strategy in a large private organization. The diff erent communication styles adopted by the line managers to disseminate information to staff resulted in a negative impact on the staff view of the company post change.
