ABSTRACT

South Korean action learning began in LG Electronics in 1993, followed by large companies including SK Teleom, CJ Corp., Hyundai Motor Company, and Samsung. Mid-sized companies, central and regional governmental offices, hospitals, and higher education institutions have also embraced action learning, though this book only reviews successful business cases. Recently, we have completed a case study of action learning for nurses (Cho, Bong, & Jang, 2012). We are also expanding our research agendas to include action learning in diverse sectors (e.g., the use of action learning in higher education institutions).
