ABSTRACT
The dissemination of research brings us directly into the arena connecting theory to practice. In so doing, it sets off a debate which has been more rhetorical than informed. There are, however, lines of inquiry dealing seriously with this issue. This chapter lays out the parameters of one of these lines of inquiry: research on the ‘dissemination and utilisation of knowledge (D&U).'
