ABSTRACT
This chapter takes stock of the involvement with the Games of providers other than national governing bodies of sport (NGBs). It starts with the regional context of London sport and such details as are available on regional participation, and then looks successively at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), Sport England (national), Greater London Authority (GLA)/Mayor of London and the host Olympic bor-oughs’ programmes, before making some concluding remarks.
