ABSTRACT
My lesson forecasts in design and technology take into account the fact that our school has a four-year rolling programme of cross-curricular themes: learning about jointed movement featured strongly in the year’s planning. My outline plans for the start of the school year were, however, rather vague because I was going to be teaching younger children than previously experienced and I wanted to feel my way at the start.
