Pages 18
WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED FROM THE CHAPTERS IN THE BOOK?
In the Introduction (Chapter 1), Eric Dorfman posed a question around the nature of intangible natural heritage. The contributors to this book have presented a wide range of approaches to the subject, exploring its depth and breadth. Although, despite their apparent disparity, a surprising number of commonalities emerge. In this fi nal chapter, we use these approaches to develop a unifying concept that both binds and evaluates the utility of these perspectives to develop an overarching, useable synthesis.
