Education and heritage: an example of new work in the schools of Benin

The authors dedicate their contribution to the memory of Mary Hagihara Kujawski Roberts, Director of the Museum of Art of the University of Iowa, who died on 2 September 1990. This homage is given to a colleague who always believed that cultural action and liveliness in museums would be of particular benefit to young people.
