Starting from the authoritative opinion of Clausius, who introduced the entropy law, Sella agrees with those who – from Maxwell to Spencer to Arrhenius – perceived that alongside the energy degradation process there exists an opposite one, on the basis of which energy is conserved, changing however form or place in space.14
