ABSTRACT
He complained of progressive difficulty of walking because of generalized weakness, but he denied bone pain. He had a limited walking span that prevented him from going out but he enjoyed adequate sun exposure. Three weeks before admission he fractured his left femur neck after a fall, necessitating a total hip prosthesis. Further, he had noticed diarrhoea after fatty meals but denied any other abdominal symptoms.
