ABSTRACT
Carbamazepine and phenobarbital were quickly tapered and the patient was maintained on pyridoxine 100 mg/day. Her mental status gradually improved, as did her developmental skills. At 1 year of age, approximately 1 month after beginning pyridoxine therapy, she had a normal neurological examination, a normal EEG and a normal MRI scan.
