ABSTRACT
Worldwide citrus production evaluated for selected countries during the 1999/2000 season was about 70 million tons, the same level as for 1997/1998. The greatest contributions to the total production were obtained from the US, Italy, China, and Spain (USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service, 2000).
