ABSTRACT
Response characteristics of the pressure control valve were improved by modifying the poppet shape and the drain orifice diameter of the solenoid valve from A to B, as shown in FIGURE 10. This improvement decreases the pressure fluctuation to the amplitude level with no problem as shown in FIGURE 11. Modification from solenoid valve A to B signifies the use of the flow force working on the poppet, the flow resistance of the drain orifice, and the high ratio of Aps/Xp by means of the large tip angle of the poppet.
