ABSTRACT

The supply air with the pressure Ps (SOOkPaG) flows into the output chamber through the supply valve. A part of this flow passes the fixed orifice into the nozzle back pressure chamber and flows out through the nozzleflapper clearance into the ambient. The electric current through the coil produced by the electrical input voltage Vi generates the electromagnetic force Fe, which is balanced with the resultant force of nozzle jet force Fpn and spring restoring force Kj(Xnfo-Xnj). The Kj(Xnjo-Xnf) is negligible small. The Fpn is almost proportional to the nozzle back pressure Pn. The output pressure Po is also almost proportional to Pn. Then, Po is almost proportional to the input signal Vi.
