researching labour market issues
WithEwart Keep

The function of this chapter is to review the main bodies of evidence on economic demand for graduates and what returns accrue to investments in higher education (HE), the strengths and weaknesses of these different strands of research, and the somewhat different stories that they tell. The bulk of the research covered here relates to England or the UK as a whole, but where relevant, mention is made of distinctive research relating to the other three nations that make up the UK.
