Kudzu (Pueraria lobata), a valuable potential commercial resource: food, paper, textiles and chemicals

There are 15 recognized varieties of the Genus Pueraria, each having somewhat different specific characteristics. These include P. phaseoloides, P. peduncularis, P. thomsonii, P. hirstuta, P. pseudo-hirstuta, P. javanica, P. elegans, P. tuberosa, P. omeiensis, P. triloba, P. mirifica, P. montana and P. lobata, sometimes also known as P. thunbergiana.
