AIDS-Related Complex (ARC)
Among the most common ARC-defining conditions were lymphadenopathy, weight loss, skin conditions such as dermatitis, and oral conditions such as thrush and hairy leukoplakia. Other symptoms associated with ARC were cervical dysplasia, herpes zoster (shingles), pelvic inflammatory disease, peripheral neuropathy, listeriosis, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and constitutional symptoms such as night sweats and fever.
