ABSTRACT
Having learned from the data and insights presented in the earlier chapters, and through deploying ideas generated while working with colleagues in recent years 1 , I conclude the book with an argumentative overview of the current situation and its genesis. I also offer some thoughts about what is involved in mounting a more effective resistance to the dominant regulatory discourse and fear-based practice than has been managed so far.
