ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to show how the concept of match-play analysis and performance diagnosis through mathematical simulation by means of the Markov chain model (Schutz, 1970; Hannan, 1976; Parlebas, 1988; Lames, 1991; McGarry and Franks, 1994) can be transformed and applied to table tennis.
