ABSTRACT
The years since the turn of the twenty-first century have seen a number of momentous developments, both affecting the lives of Asian Americans and reshaping the major issues and debates among Asian American leaders, scholars, and the commentariat. One can only speculate about how the events of the last few years will appear in an Asian American history book ten or twenty years from now, but they surely indicate that this history is very dynamic and may look very different in the future.
