Have I changed or not compared with what I was like at some point in the past? Am I likely to change or remain unchanged in the near or distant future? These questions presumably absorb the attention of many individuals from adolescence onward; yet they have rarely been focused upon in empirical studies about developmental changes in the self-concept of adults and of both younger and older individuals.
