chapter  14
Bimanual co-ordination in catching behaviour
Pages 17

In this chapter, the major existing models of bimanual co-ordination are first outlined in some detail for the reader. Next, the implications for the co-ordinative structure model of bimanual co-ordination for the study of dynamic interceptive actions, such as two-handed catching, are discussed. Finally, the issue of the development of stability in co-ordinative structures for bimanual co-ordination as a constraint on two-handed catching performance in young children is considered.
