ABSTRACT
Trabeculectomy and cataract After 7 years, 45% of operated eyes developed cataract; 47% more often than in the ALT group when surgery was uncomplicated, and 104% more often when severe inflammation or a shallow/flat anterior chamber was observed. Cataract extraction improved visual field sensitivity modestly by 2 dB.
