ABSTRACT
Lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP) involves a somewhat younger age group than the more common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) mycosis fungoides (MF). The median age of 118 LyP patients in the Dutch group was 45.5 years1 as compared to a mean age of 55.9 years (median age not stated) at diagnosis in 174 MF patients reported by Whittemore et al.2 LyP is well documented in children.3 As with MF, LyP tends to be more common in males than females. In the Dutch group the male to female ratio was 1.4. No causative factors have been established.
