ABSTRACT

During the model translation phase, the practitioner will naturally be interested in ensuring that the simulation model has all the necessary components and that the model actually runs. In reality, we are interested in getting the model not just to run but to run the way we want it to. In other words, we are interested in ensuring that the model operates as intended. This process is known as model verification. Another way to look at the verification processes is to consider it as:

“Building the model correctly.”
