ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an introduction to simulation using both the AutoMod and AutoStat software. AutoMod combines three-dimensional graphics with the most comprehensive set of templates and objects for modeling many different applications. You can use AutoMod to construct simulations for planning and design or day-to-day operations analysis and controls development testing. After designing and building a model within the AutoMod software, you can use the AutoStat software to conduct extensive output analysis on the model.
