Euthanasia (EU) and physician-assisted suicide (PAS) are issues that can be looked at from very different angles: the ethical, the religious, the cultural, the utilitarian, the humanistic, the empirical, the individualistic. The fact that this topic can be studied from so many angles makes it fascinating on the one hand, and sometimes frustrating on the other hand. It is like aiming at a moving target.
